When I was a child, I often saw it in bakery, but didn’t know that the cross on top was to commemorate the work that Jesus Christ completed for each of us when He was crucified. Now Jesus Christ is resurrected~ Let’s celebrate together and make cute and sweet Hot Cross Buns. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves spices are added to the dough, as well as freshly grated orange zest and orange juice infused raisins, just imagine how fragrant the buns are. The shape of the bread is also very special, looks like a burger bun with a cross pattern on top. While hot smeared with thin layer of butter to promote shining crust. Tear open the bread while warm, soft and fluffy, with good bounce back. Light spice flavor, full of raisins with orange aroma, delicious. Storage Method: Best eaten after baked. Once baked, let cool and put in airtight ziplock bag at room temperature up to 3 days.
