So excited, I’m seeing all kinds of mooncakes on social media everyday. Today, I made a viral Japanese dessert "Wagashi”. The traditional recipe is based on white bean paste. But I tried this recipe with reduced sugar white lotus paste today, felt so tasty, not too sweet not greasy, suitable for as mooncake stuffing. I also made a variety of flower decoration toppings, including cherry blossoms, roses and so on. They look so cute, with crispy fragrant melon seeds within, so delicious to eat and look~ truely Japanese style.
